The Organizational Meeting of the Regina Board of Education was held on November 17, 2020. Mr. Adam Hicks was declared elected by acclamation to the office of Chairperson, and Ms. Tara Molson was declared elected to the position of Vice-Chairperson, both effective immediately.

In addition, the Board adopted the following motion:

November 10, 2020 -- UPDATE Due to a number of confirmed COVID-19 cases at Lakeview School, the school will be closed on Tuesday, November 10, 2020.

Remote learning for students will begin on Friday, November 13. Classes will resume on Monday, November 23, 2020.

November 9, 2020 -- On Sunday, November 8, the Saskatchewan Health Authority informed Regina Public Schools that there was a case of COVID-19 in an individual at Lakeview School. There were no close contacts identified from this case.  The school will remain open. Letters have been sent to all families at the school.

NOVEMBER 5, 2020 – Effective Monday, November 9, 2020, all Regina Public Schools students from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 12 will be required to wear a non-medical  mask in school and on school buses.
